As the new job offer came so unexpectedly, it completely threw off our Christmas plans. I didn't want to miss a Christmas with my hubby, so I scheduled a last minute flight for Christmas day so I could spend some time with my family, as well as the remainder of the day with Eric. Luckily the flight from Vegas to Portland is shy of 2 hours long, so it wasn't too bad at all. I stayed and visited for about a week to get a feel for this new place we would be calling "home". By the time I returned to Vegas I was so consumed with packing up our apartment, work, and job hunting, that I was completely delirious to the fact that I was apparently creating a human! Who would have thought?! On moving day we had tons of family and friends come over and help us put all of our belongings in storage until we had an official plan of what to do next...
Needless to say, we packed everything into this storage unit, and an hour later I thought, "maaaaaybe I should take a test."
Welp. To my surprise that positive sign came through pretty clear! I followed Eric up to Oregon in early April and have since been preparing for this bundle of joy that has been kicking non-stop in my tummy :) We are so excited to be parents and to meet our little Gabriel Tobias. I'm sure he is just going to be the cutest little momma's boy :) Time has already flown by so fast, that I can only imagine how fast this last month will go. 36 weeks down, 4 to go!!
